Jamones Marpla  JAMONES MARPLA is a ham curing plant in Serón (Almería), in the Filabres mountain range and by the Almanzora river.

The location of Serón, 1,000 metres above sea level, and its exceptional microclimate, mean that most of the curing process of our hams can be natural, without the need for cooling facilities. Moreover, the diversity of the autochthonous flora gives them a unique finish and bouquet.

The company traces its roots back to the 1940s, when two men, A. Martínez and J. Plaza, began to produce their first hams. From that time on, and for over thirty years, they gradually developed and perfected their business activity until, in 1979, they decided to create Jamones MARPLA S.L., a company that still today produces the very highest quality hams.
